The Mira II HL 2-person tent from Exped is perfect for summer tours, cycling tours and ultra-light trekking. The 130 cm wide x 215 cm long tent features two entrances with vestibules, so two people can fit comfortably. The 1.7 m² vestibule area offers enough space for your walking boots, trekking backpack and equipment.

Versatile 2-person tent made of ultra-light materials

Made of lightweight, yet very stable fabrics, the tent only weighs 1,350 g. The 10D ripstop nylon flysheet is equipped with a silicone and PU coating to keep the elements at bay. As for the inner tent, it’s made of a 15D ripstop nylon and a 15D no-see-um mosquito nett, which not only offers privacy wind protection, but also offers good ventilation and keeps mosquitoes out. You can also use the inner tent on its own to create an airy mosquito shelter.

In addition, the tent floor is made of a 20D ripstop nylon with a hydrostatic head of 1,500 mm. However, if you’ll be pitching the tent on a stony or very wet surface, you should purchase the separate footprint for the Mira II HL. Another great feature includes the DAC Featherlite NFL 8.7 mm and NSL 9.6 mm TH72M aluminium poles that are lightweight, durable and stable. In addition, thanks to the clip system, it’s quick and easy to pitch. Finally, the Exped tent folds down to a size of 42 x 15 cm, so it’s easy to pack away and transport.
